Kornit Digital has officially launched its Atlas Matrix platform following a global beta testing program. The new system expands the company’s digital printing capabilities to polyester, blended, and sublimated fabrics.
The new platform builds on the company’s existing Atlas Max Plus system. It is designed to allow manufacturers to switch between cotton, polyester, and blended fabrics within a single production workflow.
The launch addresses one of the major technical challenges in digital apparel decoration, dye migration on polyester and sublimated garments. According to Kornit, the Atlas Matrix platform uses the company’s proprietary Karbon Shield process to enable direct printing on these difficult materials while maintaining retail-quality output and industrial-scale productivity.
Through the launch of Atlas Matrix, Kornit aims to support manufacturers looking for more flexible digital textile production systems capable of handling a wider range of fabric types within streamlined production environments.
