Alvanon has introduced a new “phygital” sizing solution that combines physical mannequins with digital avatars, helping luxury fashion designers work smoothly across both physical and digital environments.

In a statement, the company previewed its new Specialty Catwalk Series, which it describes as the world’s first luxury and designer-focused phygital sizing solution. The term “phygital” combines physical and digital experiences, showing how real and virtual tools can work together seamlessly.

According to Alvanon, the system connects physical mannequins with digital “twin” avatars created using global body scan data specifically collected for couture runway standards. The new sizing series will officially be available for orders starting May 18.

The company stated that the series is designed to accurately represent the standard body sizes and shapes commonly used by luxury designer brands for both male and female runway models. This is expected to improve efficiency, consistency, and creative freedom during the design and development process.
