Materials science company Recover has partnered with denim manufacturer Prosperity Textile to create a new range of denim fabrics under the Recover Fabrics platform. The collaboration is designed to ensure consistent quality, strong performance, and long-term supply. It offers a flexible and production-ready approach, allowing denim fabrics to be developed at scale while adapting to changing customer needs, production volumes, and end-use requirements.
This partnership combines Recover’s high-quality recycled cotton fibers with Prosperity Textile’s expertise in denim manufacturing and advanced production capabilities. Built as a scalable system for large-scale denim production, the collaboration aims to deliver reliable fabrics that meet industry standards for quality and performance over time.
Anders Sjöblom stated that the partnership is an important step in helping brands move beyond limited collections and use circular materials in their main denim ranges. He added that working with a strong manufacturing partner allows them to develop fabrics that meet the expectations of global brands while reducing the use of virgin cotton.
Stafford Lau said that combining recycled cotton expertise with large-scale manufacturing makes it possible to produce competitive denim fabrics in high volumes. He noted that the collaboration reflects a shared goal of making sustainable and high-quality denim suitable for large-scale production.
