Teijin Frontier Co., Ltd. has announced the development of a new stretch polyester yarn designed to create comfortable, fully polyester fabrics for sports and outdoor clothing.

This new yarn works well with high-performance polyester materials. Using its own polymer design and spinning technology, Teijin Frontier has added strong elasticity to the yarn, improving stretch and recovery while maintaining the performance and texture of advanced polyester fabrics.

This polyester filament yarn is fully compatible with high-performance polyester materials while still offering good stretch and recovery. Because of this compatibility, it is now possible to create 100% polyester fabrics that retain key features such as moisture absorption, quick drying, and durable water repellency.

The new yarn also shares similar properties with polyester, including strong heat-setting ability, allowing it to be used in developing high-performance stretch fabrics for different applications. By using this yarn, manufacturers can produce fully polyester textiles, which makes recycling easier compared to blended fabrics.
