Cone Denim partners with Regenagri on regenerative cotton

Cone DenimĀ®, a global leader in denim authenticity and sustainable innovation for more than 130 years, is excited to expand its sustainability commitment by highlighting the usage of regenerative cotton in its premium denim lines.

Cone's goal is to expand access to sustainably sourced cotton grown using regenerative agricultural practices in collaboration with RegenagriĀ®, an international regenerative agriculture initiative that assists organizations in reaching new levels of sustainability, while also working on various programs to assist its customers and brands in achieving key sustainability actions.

Cone Denim is proud to be an advocate for regenerative agriculture as a more sustainable method of farming and a strategy to reduce the global impact of garments. These activities assist increase soil health by rebuilding the soil's organic carbon by working with nature. No-till agriculture, cover crops, diversified crop rotations, and decreased fertilizer and pesticide usage are examples of regenerative methods. Cone fully supports the RegenagriĀ® initiatives that help businesses move to holistic farming by prioritizing soil health and biodiversity, lowering greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and sequestering CO2.
