Weiber Air Capture Hood is a multipurpose electronic air balancing instrument for reading air volume flow at diffusers, and grilles. It is ideally suited for commissioning agents, facilities managers, health and safety specialists, test engineers, and test and balance professionals. Weiber Air Capture Hoods have replaced the deflecting vane anemometer with diffuser probes due to their ease of use, quick measurements, and near elimination of the need to apply grille manufacturers. Our material handling air showers (one side flow) are self-contained units, installed at the entrance of a clean room and other controlled environment chambers for minimizing the entry of dust particles and other particulate matters into the working area. The material handling air shower is designed to provide and maintain clean room conditions for research applications and particle sensitive manufacturing processes. Our dust containment air shower find widespread use in pharmaceutical production industry, micro-electronic fabrication industry, semiconductor manufacturing industry and various research industries, owing to their ability to provide complete decontamination solutions for processes and products requiring highly sterile working conditions. Weiber manufactures air showers for pharmaceutical industry, automobile industry/automotive industry, microbiological containment, telecommunication industry, mobile phone assembly and electronic and semi conductor industry.Our material handling air showers use industrial grade mica clad heavy wooden boards and high grade stainless steel as construction materials for a reliable and sturdy construction. They are available in both standard and customized designs to suit the requirements of the industry. The entire air shower assembly is pre-wired and tested, ready to use with a simple plug-in, therefore providing an unmatched ease of operation. Moreover, the use of high quality construction materials ensures unparalleled manufacturing quality, whereas the highly efficient blowers and motors ensure long lasting dependable results. Our industrial air showers feature fully washable pre-filters and highly efficient HEPA filters for the removal of dust and contaminating particles from the air flow. They are also equipped with powerful motors and blowers for maintaining a uniform air circulation and nozzles and jets for spraying the skin surfaces and clothes of the user with clean air at appropriate face velocities. The adjustable nozzles direct the air in a downward flow to produce enough shearing effect for loosening of the dust particles and causing their wash down. Our air showers use microprocessor based controllers for various set parameters and alarms and indicator lights for any fluctuations from the set parameters. Weiber Particle containment air shower for clean room use modern technologies such as Ethernet and computer connectivity through the use of advanced softwares such as RS 232 and RS 485 software. Our mobile air showers are also equipped with 21 CFR compliant data logging and in-built auto sensor calibration facilities. Working Principle Our 21 CFR compliant air showers are designed to eliminate the contaminating particles from the skin surfaces and clothes of the personnel before they can enter the clean room. They feature top mounted pre-filters and HEPA filters for filtration of circulated air and efficient blowers and air nozzles for ejection of the filtered air. The air entering the air shower cubicle is forced by the blowers through the filter assembly. The efficient filter assembly entraps the contaminating particles 0.1-0.3 microns in size or larger. The filtered air is then ejected through the nozzles at appropriate face velocities into the chamber. These turbulent air streams are directed in a downward flow to produce enough shearing, wash-down effect for loosening and elimination of dust particles. The dispersed dust particles and other particulate matters migrate with the air stream and re-enter the pre-filter and blower assembly and are continuously filtered and recirculated, for maintaining highly sterile working environments. Product Description Filter Assembly Our air showers use top mounted pre-filters and highly efficient HEPA filters for removal of dust and particulate matters from the air circulation. The washable pre-filter unit, made up of non-woven synthetic polyester, can trap up to 85% of the contaminating particles as the air is forced through them. These pre-filters reduce the contaminant load on the HEPA filters, therefore increasing their efficiency and life span. The HEPA filters used in our material handling air showers are made up of glass pleated non-woven fabric filter media and display a filtration efficiency of 99.99% for particles as small as 0.3 microns in size. Construction Details Our steel air showers are made up of industrial grade mica clad heavy wooden boards and high grade stainless steel (SS 304 or SS 316). The internal walls of the equipment are plastic laminated to provide a uniform surface and are available in attractive finishes. Both the doors on either side of the air shower are magnetically operated and interlocked. They are made up of aluminium panel and feature clear view glass/acrylic windows. The compartment access panels are made of coated aluminium and are hinged for ease of handling. Weiber custom air shower is available in small/big/large/huge air shower sizes. Illumination system Our air showers use top mounted fluorescent lights for adequate illumination of the air shower cubicle. The fluorescent lights are concealed within a light panel and provide an illumination level of more than 800 lux. The illumination system of our air shower conforms to US federal standards and is designed to ensure uniform and even lighting throughout the chamber. Motor and Blower Assembly Our material handling air showers use ISI marked, statically and dynamically balanced motors and blower motors with a rating of 1/5 HP. The permanently lubricated centrifugal motors and blowers ensure smooth, vibration free and quiet operation. They have a compact design and are completely integrated for increased energy efficiency and optimum motor cooling. Programmable Operation The material handling air showers from Weiber use microprocessor based controllers for maintaining optimum conditions of temperature and illumination. The programmable solid state circuit control system located at the junction box of the air shower facilitates adjustment of the air nozzles and operation timer from 0-9,990 seconds. The junction box also houses an emergency setting button that allows switching off of the equipment with audio and visual alarms.
