Yarns collection “Yarn in Motion” by Sudwolle Group

Wool blended with silk, presented in the quality Losanna Nm 60/1 (85% Merino wool 19,3 μ, 15% silk), is an all time favourite. Merino-silk qualities provide a natural elegance, high comfort as well as high elongation and durability. The combination of these high performance fibres is the right choice for everyday wear and glamourous styles with a lustrous shimmering look.

All existing and new products will be shown during the respective exhibitions, including, OutDoor in Friedrichshafen (17th-20th of June), Outdoor Retailer in Denver (8th-10th of Nov.) and Performance Days in Munich (28th/29th of Nov.).

The well-known spinner of pure wool and wool blend worsted yarns, Südwolle Group is presenting some inspiring summer products within its outdoor and functional yarns collection “Yarn in Motion”. These yarn qualities for circular knitting will be presented at the OutDoor show in Friedrichshafen (17th-20th June).

The “wool in summer” range will engage customers to get out of their comfort zone and to explore unexpected worlds. Many people still think wool is typically intended for winter applications. The company definately asks its customers “to jump in at the deep end” and to work with wool for functional and outdoor clothing during the summer season.

Wool has functional characteristics as a temperature regulating, natural fibre; it provides a natural cooling effect, breathability as well as odour resistance and comfort. Blended with other fibres, wool properties can even be enhanced, like in Monopoli Nm 60/1 (74% Merino wool 17,2 μ, 13% linen, 13% nylon filament), or in other fibre combinations like Merino wool plus Trevira® polyester and hemp, Merino wool blended with Coolmax® or Lenzing™ Lyocell (Tencel®).
