Womenswear brand With Nothing Underneath becomes B Corp Certified

British womenswear brand With Nothing Underneath (WNU), has announced that, after 18 months of hard effort, it has earned B Corp certification.

B Corp, which is managed by charity B Lab, is one of the strictest certifications that assesses the social and environmental effects of companies. More than 300 questions on governance, employees, communities and environmental effect are covered by the certification.

WNU is reaffirming its continued commitment to social and environmental measures by earning B Corp certification. The company has said that this accreditation represents a new phase in the transition to a purpose-driven approach rather than the end result.

Pip Durell, Founder and CEO of WNU, said that he is happy to report that WNU has received B Corp accreditation. They’re thrilled to be a part of this group. As a company, he firmly thinks that they must fully accept responsibility for the effects they have on both people and the environment, changing the way they conduct themselves and ensuring that this accountability is made public. B Corp provides us with a strong structure that will help us accelerate and direct this transition because he wants WNU to be at the forefront of bringing about the improvements we want to see in the fashion industry.

There are 27 B Corps in the UK that fall within the “Apparel, Footwear & Accessories” business classification. Patagonia leads the verified fashion companies with 151.4 points, followed by Allbirds with 89.4, Chloe with 85.2, and Sezane with 82.6. WNU scored 91.7, which is good.
