Today their business is completely wholesale, as they operate as a major importer of high quality home textile like bedding, curtains and other accessories in the United States is shifting its headquarters from home to North Bergen for want of large industrial space for a more corporate office, according to an official.
Victoria Classics is dedicated to providing valued priced premium solutions to the bedding market. This includes their commitment to offer the most updated trends, best prices and on time quality products for all leading brands, all backed by their skillful and professional designers, color, merchants and technical team in the field around the world.
The company’s designers work with a variety of production techniques including embroidery, jaquard, and printed while always using the finest quality materials. They work closely with their customers to address their sustainability concerns, and work with an external sustainability consultancy to ensure that they are implementing best-in-class solutions, such as carbon accounting software.
Marcelo Slutzky, chief operating officer of the company, said the move will bring roughly 120 employees to North Bergen and bring the company closer its New York City showroom. To have the headquarters closer to the city is a big advantage to them.
Dan Reider, an associate with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, a firm that represented the company on the deal said that Victoria Classics, now based in Edison, will rent most of the sixth floor of 5901 West Side Avenue, starting in the second or third quarter of this year.
Victoria Classics recently inked a 12-year lease for a 31,254 square-foot space in the West Side Center office building, joining other tenants such as Kate Spade & Co.
The eight-story office building was developed in 1993, and was formerly Liz Claiborne’s headquarters. Real Capital Solutions bought the building in 2013.
