Uttarakhand gets approval for setting up two textile parks

Uttarakhand has being given approval for setting up two textile parks, in these parks weavers which will provide hi tech infrastructure facilities, modern technology, training and raw material, said Union Minister of State for Textiles, Ajay Tamta.

But the state government has to decide where it wants to set these two textile parks which will provide benefit for weavers.

This will also help in reducing migration in the hilly areas in search of jobs and not only the weavers but educated and skilled youth will also get work opportunities.

The minister from Almora constituency said that he will especially try to improve the conditions of the weavers living in remote areas of Uttarakhand and in the hilly areas along the Sino-Indian border.
