US Polo Assn Kids presents Junior’s Fashion Week Autumn Winter 2017 at Kolkata

The excitement of Junior’s Fashion Week electrifies the air at JW Marriott, Kolkata. While spectators enjoy the procession of cutting-edge ensembles, it helps to acknowledge them about the brands, fabrications, and prices of the collection and accessories parading before them. That’s where a detailed and descriptive run-of-show by Junior’s Fashion Week comes in.

The suit is dead. So is the dress shoe. Skinny pants, too, jeans or otherwise. Run out and buy yourself a pair of slouchy, side-striped track pants though, and maybe an anorak. Those were just some of the big takeaways from the runways of Junior’s Fashion Week, the two-day event that ended on 03rd September 2017.

In the Autumn Winter edition, USPA showcased another innovatively curated collection for the juniors. U.S. Polo Assn. Kids AW’17 collection features traditional, preppy and updated looks. The collection offers contemporary elegance, great tradition and a jovial attitude which reflects in the positioning, imagery and experience as a premium brand. Mr. Alok Dubey from USPA says, “U.S. Polo Assn Kids has always been a very integral part of our brand and we are pleased to be associated with Junior’s Fashion Week. The creative and youthful nature of this show is a good platform to showcase our kids’ collection. Rooted in the brand’s American origin and polo connection, the collection stays true to classic American styling showcasing a vibrant play with reds, blues and whites highlighted with stars, stripes and dot prints. The overwhelming reaction from parents and kids has given us a strong sense of responsibility to prove ourselves and provide a great clothing line for our junior models.”

Kolkata was deep in sleep when everything was put in place. With the fresh morning rays, the city woke up to fashion and trends in the air. Gone are the days when our parents used to take us to the local street market to shop for new clothes. It is 2017. Parents now take their kids to fashion events not only to participate but also to knowledge them about the new trendiest collection.

With premium brands like US Polo Assn. Kids to local luxury designers like Lil Angels, and daily wear brands like A-First and Doodlers, JFW showcased collections that left every onlooker stunned. The idea behind the event was not only to provide the brands a never like before platform to showcase their kids collection, but at the same time to enrich the children with confidence and groom them for their better tomorrow. After all, Junior’s Fashion Week has always been a promised land to brands, designers, and of course, the guardians and the little stars. And that feeling underscored the shows taking place JW Marriott for the Autumn Winter 2017 season.

The exuberance of the kids and the audience was clearly evident. JFW runway was afire with the spirits of the young models and the bright and lively AW’17 collection of the brands & designers. Parents were head over heels in love with the event. They could not thank enough, and we could not be more proud. Jessica Gomes Surana, show director and choreographer, says, “My association with Junior’s Fashion Week has been an enriching and very fruitful. It has been a beautiful journey so far interacting with the tiniest fashion brigades who are a joy to groom and an absolute delight to watch on stage”.

With such an amazing response from Kolkata, not only Junior’s Fashion Week is pumped up for the next stop in Mumbai, but is equally excited to return to Kolkata again for the next season!
