TRUE attains sustainability through digitization


TRUE launch their first environmentally friendly uniforms in Thailand under the “Green Digital” concept in line with the circular economy and sustainable management movements, while introducing TRUE 5G.

TRUE launch their first eco-friendly uniforms that cater to the business sector and proves that the company is not only focused on developing technology but also executing their responsibility towards society and the environment. TRUE is a leading tech company that has been recognized by the International community. The company is also a worthy member of the DJSI (Dow Jones Sustainability Index). The company is known for scoring the highest points in the global telecommunication group for two consecutive years.

The company has enforced its “From Waste to Wear” concept, where the uniforms are made from 100% eco-friendly uniforms comprising recycled PET plastics and cotton. The uniforms are simplistic and have a comfortable design created by the famous designer, Preedakorn ‘Bank’ Metkriengchai from RAMS. He has repainted the TRUE logo by hand utilizing a gradient method that stops the colors from fading for a long period of time.

The uniforms have attached Augmented Reality badges that can be scanned by smartphones using the True5G AR application.

Oliver Kittipong Veerataecha, Chief Brand & Group Communications Officer at True Corporation, stated that the TRUE group’s vision was a new form of doing business with sustainable strategies. He further stated that they have achieved this by putting emphasis on developing innovation and technology that fit the customer’s lifestyles. The company has adopted smart technology that enables sustainable positive change in society by protecting the environment.

Kittipong further underlines that the uniforms have seamless graphic patterns that signify the borderless digital era. The specialized screening method provides the uniform’s colors and ever-lasting longevity, underscoring TRUE’s commitment to doing business in a sustainable manner.

Kittipong further added that the uniforms have been developed keeping in mind the digital lifestyle through their AR pins which convey the message that TRUE personnel are smart agents offering digital experiences.

The company uses recycled paper bags in TRUE shops to ensure that they abide by the government’s ban on plastic bags. Ever advancement the company makes towards making TRUE more environmentally conscious is recognized by TRUE’s ranking on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI).
