The Restory launches aftercare services for clothing

The Restory, the UK’s leading provider in luxury handbags and shoe repairs, is expanding its portfolio of services to include clothes for the first time called Restry.

The Restory will continue to provide a seamless experience for clients across the world, offering conventional services and innovative solutions, and attending to each specific need while allowing customers to extend the lifespan of the promise that comes with luxury.

Cleaning, maintenance, repairs, and replacements, as well as bespoke modifications, including couture and tailoring, would be included in its newly introduced garment aftercare services.

The debut of the new category coincides with the opening of bespoke alteration services at ReSelfridges: The Wedding at Selfridges Corner Shop in London, which will run for five weeks and include The Restory’s garment services alongside shoes, bags, and leather goods.

Vanessa Jacobs, founder, and CEO of The Restory, said that having spent years cracking the intricacy of leather goods, establishing their clothes vertical is a logical development for The Restory.

Jacobs added that the most fashionable and sustainable way to consume is to extend ‘desirable life,’ whether through repair, cleaning, or modifications. Their goal is to make falling in love with our favorite artists as simple and secure as possible.

They offer a wide range of repair services which include shortening hems or sleeves, suit alterations, reattaching and replacing buttons, repairing holes, zip replacement, and many more.
