Technical Absorbents Launches washable absorbent core fabric

Technical Absorbents, a company based in Grimsby, UK, has introduced Fabric 7171, a washable absorbent core material designed to offer excellent absorbency along with long-term reusability.

Developed using the company’s superabsorbent fibre (SAF), the fabric quickly absorbs and locks in liquid while remaining fully washable, making it suitable for repeated use.

This new needlepunched nonwoven fabric weighs 120gsm and delivers excellent absorption and retention performance. It is especially suitable as a core layer in reusable menstrual and light incontinence products, offering a practical and dependable option for manufacturers looking for a high-quality absorbent layer for washable and sustainable applications.
