TDAP’s Single Country Exhibition scheduled for Jan 2017 in Sri Lanka

The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) under the patronage and support of the Government of Sri Lanka will hold the Single Country Exhibition in Colombo scheduled for January 2017. One of the primary aims to organize this exhibition was to introduce the diverse goods and commodities being produced in Pakistan to the Sri Lankan consumers.

The exhibition provides an opportunity to explore the Pakistani market in Sri Lanka. The Pakistani exhibition held last January was a great success as all companies had received tremendous response from Sri Lankan buyers and visitors.

Many companies have received orders from Sri Lankan buyers. Pakistan’s General Fan Company (GFC) has already sent its first consignment to Sri Lanka after successful deals which were materialized as a result major components of the Single Country Exhibition will be exhibition display and Business to Business meetings. Renowned companies from Textile, Garments and Asscessories, Agriculture, Engineering, Handicrafts and from the Jewellery sector will participate in the event.

The exhibition will be a true showcase of quality brands from Pakistan with the collective presence of top Pakistani brands at the event. The Free Trade Agreement between Pakistan and Sri Lanka is operational from 12th June 2005. Under the Free Trade Agreement Sri Lanka and Pakistan have agreed to offer preferential market access to each other’s exports by way of granting tariff concessions.

The event will be conducted from January 13 to 15 at the Chinese-built Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Colombo.
