TAYA Group introduces eco calculator for large-format banner materials

TAYA Groups has officially launched the world’s first Eco Calculator for large-format banner materials, which will make it easier for businesses to analyze and comprehend the eco savings of its Kavalan PVC-free banner line, which is exclusively provided by CMYUK in the UK and Ireland.

SGS, testing, inspection, and certification organization, undertook a Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) procedure that yielded the scientific facts.

SGS completed LCAs on all of the current Kavalan goods, finding that the materials generate “significant eco savings,” with 12 products accessible for comparison on the Kavalan Eco Calculator with their PVC banner and textiles equivalents.

The web-based Eco Calculator uses comparison data from five prevalent environmental impacts which are human carcinogens, global warming, PM2.5 (polluted particles), water consumption, and fossil fuel scarcity.

Users can select their favorite Kavalan product, unit of measurement, and amount, and the eco savings result is created immediately, followed by the delivery of a personalized PDF report and message to their mailbox. The Eco Calculator is presently available to Kavalan distribution partners and the personalized report is available in 7 languages i.e. English, French, German, Italian, Romanian, Spanish, and Japanese.

Vincent Lin, vice president of the TAYA Group, said that at TAYA, they invest a lot of work into ensuring Kavalan’s environmental credentials are exceptional, and they’re always striving to make the products even more environmentally friendly. But that isn’t enough- they also need to make it simple for companies to see how Kavalan goods can help them achieve their sustainability goals, as well as to demonstrate how big the environmental savings are when compared to PVC banners and textiles.

Lin added that the Kavalan Eco Calculator is a valuable tool for large-format print firms working with or pitching to agencies and brands as they continue to quickly grow their international distribution network. No more flimsy claims about recyclability, sustainability, or environmental friendliness — Kavalan’s Eco Calculator can show the clients how it can help them meet important environmental goals without sacrificing quality.
