Taipei IN Style brings together 196 fashion designers and brands from 14 nations

Taipei IN Style, 10th edition to bring together 196 fashion designers and brands from over 14 nations and markets from around the world, according to activity organizer the Taiwan Textile Federation.

At the pre-event fashion show, the Taiwan Textile Federation showed 22 of the latest works from fashion designers. The Federation said that Taiwanese fashion designers will be looking forward to stamping their mark on a global scale at the 10th Taipei IN Style exhibition. As of this year, TIS is being held semiannually to adhere to international buying seasons.

According to the federation, the style convention will present 13 house shows and highlight more than 500 pieces of clothing.

Exhibitors include Chinese Fashion Week’s, China Fashion Association Award (CFA) Award winner Gioia Pan, who has collaborated with EPSON Taiwan, 14 designers from Hong Kong Fashion Week Extravaganza 2014, and famous Taiwanese fashion designer Goji Lin.

Singaporean designers Alfie Leong, designer and director of fashion label The Little Voice and Angel Lim will also be displaying their avant-garde collections for women.

Additionally, globally recognized fashion professionals to also share fashion trends, marketing strategies and the inspiration for upcoming seasons during the four-day event. They include Catriona MacNab, creative director from WGSN, UK, Deborah Peng, general manager of Fablead Consulting, Koji Shimada, president of the Institute of Business Developement Co. of Japan.

It will also include major Asian retailers such as Parkson and PARCO on the buyers’ list.

The 10th year of Taipei IN Style for autumn is marked its beginning today and will continue till Nov. 9 at the Songshan Culture and Creative Park.
