Sustainable textile solutions presented by Hyosung at Interfilière Paris

Hyosung is looking forward to presenting its extensive offering of sustainable textile solutions at Interfilière Paris Hall 5.2, booth J71, Porte de Versailles this July 2-4. This is due to the fact that brands of intimate apparel, swimwear, and loungewear are demanding innovation in earth-friendly materials and embracing trends like inclusivity, functionality, and timeless femininity.

N850 FishTale, a swimwear fabric made from an 80/20 blend of Hyosung regen ocean 100-percent post-consumer nylon made from discarded fishing nets and RCS-certified 100-percent recycled creora regen spandex, is the result of an exclusive partnership between Hyosung and Hung Yen Knitting & Dyeing.

By transforming discarded fishing nets into regen ocean recycled nylon, FishTale fabric helps to clean our oceans. When compared to conventional nylon, the production of regen ocean results in reductions of CO2 emissions of 73%, use of fossil resources of 75.71%, and water consumption of 98.6%, as determined by an independent third-party Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). The first 100% recycled spandex produced from reclaimed waste, Hyosung’s creora regen spandex saves valuable non-renewable resources from being extracted from the earth.

Hyosung says that the market for intimate clothing is having an exciting time because brands are starting to accept eco-friendly materials that last for a long time. Bio-based fibers are emerging as a blend with natural fibers like cotton, silk, and modal, despite the fact that recycled fibers and fabrics are the primary sustainable option of choice among intimate brands. In terms of functionality, features like cooling, breathability, and sustainability are necessary.

The business also said that undergarments that are gender-neutral, available in a wide range of sizes and skin tones, and that promote body positivity are leading the way in terms of diversity and inclusivity.

Additionally, women desire a touch of glamour and femininity in their undergarments. With paired-back simplicity, see-through and sheer mesh fabrics, and lace, lingerie is becoming a little more opulent as socializing and dressing up return.

Hyosung will likewise present an expansive variety of textures and ideal pieces of clothing created by its Style Configuration Center to assist item engineers and originators with imagining articles of clothing made with its imaginative yarns.
