Südwolle
Germany-based, Südwolle Group’s latest SS2023 weaving collection, is based on certified fibers produced with chlorine-free anti-shrinkage treatments for products that are easy to care for and wash at home at low temperatures, and is based on a renewed interest in heritage and the essential properties of wool.
Wool and viscose blends that are FSC-certified and sourced from responsibly managed forests enable the production of clothes that are biodegradable at the end of their life cycle, and cationic Danufil deep dye viscose can be dyed after being blended with wool, reducing the energy required for dyeing processes. Furthermore, the blends provide unique melange effects as a result of the color absorption differences.
For customized yarns, technical, GRS-certified wool blends with recycled polyesters and polyamides from pre-and post-consumer sources are also available on request.
Seaqual, a polyester upcycled from marine trash, and Q-Nova, a recycled, exceptionally durable polyamide filament with great dyeing effects, are two other sustainable new materials utilized in the Südwolle Group collection.
A range of OTW yarns, created with unique Omega Twist spinning technology, are added to the collection, resulting in reduced pilling, greater elasticity, resilience, and durability. OTW yarns in the finest pure wool, such as OTW Campiglia Nm 120/2 and OTW Volturno Fine Nm 76/2, are available.
With production sites in Germany, Italy, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, China, and Vietnam, the Südwolle Group employs over 3,000 people.
