StockX introduces women’s luxury shoes to resale catalogue

Resale platform StockX, has expanded its catalog once again with the launch of women’s luxury shoes, opening your access to a wider selection of styles from coveted names including Amina Muaddi, Hermès, Chanel, Gucci, Prada, and Christian Louboutin.

Since women make up more than a third of StockX customers now, the business aims to add more high-end footwear labels throughout 2022 and into the next year as this client category continues to expand. StockX will launch new footwear options for guys from brands like Hermès, Gucci, and Prada even though the catalog growth efforts are predominantly focused on women’s fashions.

A “Shoes” category has been introduced to StockX’s site as part of the launch. Customers will now find it simpler to learn about the recently introduced women’s footwear companies as well as other well-known non-sneaker brands like Crocs, Birkenstock, and Timberland thanks to the new functionality.

Cynthia Lee, vice president of sneakers, apparel, and accessories at StockX, said that since consumers have relied on StockX for years to get access to expensive handbags and accessories that are difficult to find, this launch was a logical next step for them. As the platform expanded, its consumer base broadened and it forged a closer bond with its female clientele. The introduction of women’s luxury shoes brings new advantages to their seller community in addition to catering to this expanding consumer. Particularly in Europe, StockX vendors have a huge chance to expand their clientele and keep up with the rising demand from customers there and throughout the world.

After a product is sold on StockX, the seller ships it to a StockX authentication facility where it goes through a multi-step authentication process that includes, among other things, product correctness checks, thorough examinations of the box, packing, and accessories, and a condition verification. The goods are returned to the seller if it doesn’t pass StockX’s authentication requirements. The transaction is complete after StockX ships the item straight to the buyer if it passes inspection. The opening of Berlin, Germany’s 12th authentication facility was recently announced by StockX. The new facility will assist the business in satisfying ongoing demand from its extensive customer base.
