Stage set for the opening of UAE’s first-ever International Textile Fair in Dubai

UAE’s first ever International Textile Fair (ITF) a premier platform for FASHION, FABRICS and CLOTHING. The Fair aims to become a major influence on the UAE fashion scene is supported by Dubai Customs, Emirates airline and the Textile Merchants Group (TEXMAS) which represents 800 wholesale textile traders of Dubai.

The highlight of the event will be Pre-collection Spring/Summer 2015 and Autumn/Winter highlights.

Over 200 exhibitors mainly from Europe, India, China, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Turkey and various other high-end manufacturers from around the world will be part of the Fair. It has attracted a wide range of Textile Mills, and a Large Print Designers .

ITF will provide manufacturers and their agents with the opportunity to showcase their products to the most influential buyers and designers on the UAE fashion scene. Principally a “TRADE ONLY” event, it provides a professional and conducive atmosphere to business and networking. In response to the need for a dedicated trade exhibition in Dubai- UAE, the show has been designed as a quality event for the Fashion Fabrics Business in the UAE.

The International Textile Fair provides a platform for buyers and designers to view the showcased latest trims and accessories, from current ranges to 2015’s pre-collections.

It attracts designers, buyers and product developers who come not only to maintain existing relationships but work also to source and develop new and exciting products. It provides a fantastic opportunity to find inspirational, relevant and directional collections.

Exhibitor Categories include: Casual – Formal – Soft in cotton, shirting, jersey, silk, outerwear , rainwear, coated fabric, printed fabrics, wool, worsteds, linens, tweed, fancies, flannel, synthetics, technical.

According to the show organizer Dilip Nihalani, of Nihalani Brothers, as Dubai serves as a gateway to the whole Middle East and Asia region, international textile players are looking at ITF Dubai as a strategic platform to showcase their innovations, new prints and colours. Many of them are looking forward to launching their Spring/Summer Collection during ITF Dubai.

ITF Dubai will have dedicated segments for digital prints , machine embroidery, haute couture fabrics and new innovations.

In ITF Dubai, buying houses will have a ready platform for their fabrics. The show will definitely strengthen the UAE textile sector and the region, as international players will build new ties and establish business alliances with local and regional players.

The stage is set for the debut of Dubai’s own International Textile Fair (ITF) to be held from November 3 to 4, 2014, at Dubai World Trade Centre, Hall No. 4 which will offers buyers, distributors, and designers the opportunity to view a huge range of textiles from the most prestigious textile mills all over the world- all under one roof.
