Spinnova to expand sustainable fiber adoption with Fashion for Good

Finnish fibre manufacturer Spinnova has partnered with Fashion for Good to increase the availability of Spinnova’s sustainable fibre in the textile materials market and strengthening the company’s production and operational infrastructure.

The agreement focuses on the commercial use of textile materials made with Spinnova’s sustainable fibres. It also aims to create a multi-sector consortium, with Fashion for Good playing a central role in building and managing the wider ecosystem, according to Pedro Brito, Commercial Director at Spinnova.

Katrin Ley, Chief Executive Officer of Fashion for Good, stated that the partnership goes beyond proving the technology itself. She emphasised that building the necessary infrastructure and capacity across the value chain is essential to make large-scale adoption possible.
