Spinnova, NZ TEX Group to accelerate commercial adoption of SPINNOVA fiber

Finnish textile innovation company Spinnova has expanded its global manufacturing ecosystem through a strategic collaboration with woven fabric specialist NZ TEX GROUP, strengthening efforts to accelerate the industrial-scale adoption of SPINNOVA fiber across the textile industry.

NZ TEX GROUP brings vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities and extensive expertise in woven fabrics and denim production, positioning the company as a key partner in scaling the production of fabrics made with SPINNOVA fibre. With the technical validation phase completed, the partnership is now focused on large-scale manufacturing, enabling broader commercialization of SPINNOVA fibre in global apparel and textile markets.

As part of the partnership’s next phase, NZ TEX GROUP has begun producing denim fabrics incorporating SPINNOVA fibre. These fabrics will be showcased at the Kingpins New York exhibition in July 2026, providing brands, designers, and manufacturers with an opportunity to evaluate the commercial capabilities of the fibre in premium denim applications.

By combining Spinnova’s proprietary fibre technology with NZ TEX GROUP’s manufacturing expertise, the partnership aims to accelerate market adoption of sustainable textiles and strengthen supply chain readiness for large-scale production. The collaboration reflects a broader industry trend toward building integrated manufacturing ecosystems that can efficiently translate innovative fibre technologies into commercially viable products.
