Showtime, a semiannual fabric market this June to see 45 Chinese textile companies exhibiting

Showtime, High Point’s Semi-Annual Fabric Market, is produced by and for the members of the International Textile Market Association (ITMA). Showtime is the one most important show of its kind in North America, There is nothing else like it, as it represent 45 new sources — many with brand new co-designed and created products.

When Showtime, High Point’s semi-annual fabric market, officially kicks off on June 1, 45 Chinese textile companies also will open for business in the International Pavilions.

Featuring new fabric constructions and home textiles, the companies in the International Pavilions in the Suites at Market Square represent a growing international presence at Showtime, and company representatives and show officials say the partnership is win-win collaboration for the textile industries.

Al Bolton is the special project consultant for International Market Centers concentrating on Showtime and the International Pavilions said that the exhibiting companies in the pavilions bring added value to the show.

Many of these international exhibitors are looking for business partnerships in the U.S. market. One of their highest priorities is finding agents and sales reps to pioneer their lines in the North American market.

South Pacific Textile USA will introduce more than 100 new fabric SKUs at the June Showtime as they are looking for partners in the U.S. market and to establish long-term business relationships.

This will be the second time in June that Wujiang Wanshida Textile is showing up and will introduce 40 new SKUs. Hangzhou Xinhong Fabric will also be attending Showtime for the second time and introducing between 60 and 80 SKUs.

Shaoxing Riyade Textiles will be introducing four new groups in linen, velvet, jacquards and plains. Their strong items are linen-look fabrics — plain or checks, stripes with a big range of colors, jacquard fabrics and velvets. Their main markets have been Germany, Poland, the Middle East and China, and now they are expanding their business to the U.S.

Novatex Hangzhous headquartered in Italy will bring 80 new SKUs to the June show.

ITMA brings all segments of the home furnishings industry together, in one place, at one time for Showtime. During the months of December and June this internationally acclaimed market offers the most thorough fabric, leather and trimmings presentations in the western hemisphere.
At Showtime, ITMA member companies host more than 800 buying companies during each event. On average, exhibitors schedule 70 to 110 appointments for the week, making this market a cost-effective venue to show and view thousands of fabrics
