Vietnam is to hold an International Textile and Garment Industry Exhibition which will feature machinery, equipment and materials for textile production later this month. The 14th Vietnam Int’l Textile and Garment industry exhibition aims to create opportunities for Vietnamese enterprises to exchange experiences, improve their competitiveness and seek new business partners.
The event is expected to attract more than 360 domestic and foreign exhibitors from some 10 countries and regions, including China, India, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Turkey and the United States.
During the four-day expo, sideline events will include seminars and meetings between textile suppliers and enterprises.
At the four-day event, the latest machinery, equipment and technologies will be displayed by high quality exhibitors from 10 world countries & regions, such as China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Turkey, U.S.A, and Vietnam which will be taking parts in the exhibition, with world-renowned companies such as ARTREND, Da Kong, EKSOY, TAJIMA, WELLTEX, among other multinational firms, to name just a few.
In addition, Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry TAMI will set up their own special pavilion with 12 top companies and cover approx. 162 sqm of the TBECC exhibition ground, showcasing the leading machineries and cutting-edge technologies to the Vietnamese market . Their strong presence further consolidates the event’s international status.
Vietnam is among the world’s top garment and textile producers and exporters. The country is expected to earn around 25.4 billion U.S. dollars from garment and textile exports in 2014, a year-on- year increase of 19 percent, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade .
