Sezane’s French girl denim turns sustainable

French girl style is a commonly sought aesthetic defined by effortless elegance. And now, Parisian clothing and denim brand Sezane is serving that to customers with an eco-friendly upgrade.

The brand debuted a new collection, Denim (r)Evolution, which uses 100 percent GOTS certified organic cotton, recycled cotton and eco-friendly distressing processes that significantly reduce water and chemical usage.

And the sustainable collection isn’t short on style or variety. It offers eight new styles that appeal to a variety of preferences and body types.

The collection, which offers styles in U.S. sizes 24-35, includes three versions of a skinny jean: The Perfect Slim, a high-rise slim jean; The Slim 7/8 with a cropped leg for those in need of a shorter inseam; and The Brut Sexy, a high-rise straight leg that hits at the ankle.

The collection also features wider silhouettes, like the The Venice, a high-rise wide leg jean and The Juno, a culotte version with front pockets. The Parisien is a high-rise matelot pant with a double-button design. Sezane captures the feeling of laid-back weekends with relaxed fits, including the Alvin, a bleached jean with a paperbag waist, and the Girlfriend, a low-rise tomboy style.

Classic indigo washes, black and off-white color ways are available throughout the collection. Jeans are available now in stores and online and retail for $125-$150.
