Schlafhorst is up with economically compact spinning unit

Schlafhorst, based out of Germany an innovative leader for ring-spinning, winding and rotor-spinning technology for yarns in the staple fibre field who is always on run to update its ultra economical compact spinning technology has come up with the second-generation Zinser 351 2Impact FX compact spinning unit featuring a new air ducting system.

The new air ducting system take care of constant and turbulence-free airflow ensuring a consistent vacuum in the compacting unit, which in turn produces a uniformly bound fiber with guaranteed quality.

The core of Zinser compact technology is the self-cleaning compact apron with its inclined perforated slots it has better running properties, which increases the service life of the apron.

According to Shlafhorst, fiber deposits and other dirt particles also are expelled out of the air openings at the apron’s deflection points using the milling effect, removing the need for rigid screening drums that clog with fiber residue and require periodic cleaning.

The Zinser 351 2Impact FX is designed for optimal aerodynamics, and equipped with its own controlled vacuum unit which facilities the operators to achieve an increase in production of up to 7,700 kilograms of yarn each year.

The self-cleaning system continuously ensures the desired yarn quality. There is no need for personnel intensive inspections. There are also no production downtimes due to cleaning intervals.

The trend of compact spinning is growing continually and will get even stronger over the coming years because of its economic benefits.

Schlafhorst is always present at leading exhibitions to show their latest products and service with a focus on the textile industry. It is also a member of the Switzerland-based Saurer AG group of companies.
