Saucony’s latest apparel collection features regenerated polyester

American running brand, Saucony, has introduced an apparel collection in collaboration with Cycora by Ambercycle, a premium regenerated material made from end-of-life textiles.

A series of high-performance running shirts, including a fitted tank, crop top, short sleeve, and singlet, is included in the Saucony x Cycora collection for both men and women. These tops are composed of breathable, sweat-wicking jersey that contains up to 23% Cycora material.

Brian Moore, senior vice president of global product for Saucony, said that their partnership with Cycora allows them to simultaneously decrease the materials going into landfills while generating a quality range of items that are ready to perform. They’re thrilled to be working with Cycora, and they know that runners will value their contribution to reducing the cycle of used clothes disposal.

Shay Sethi, chief executive of Ambercycle, said that they are thrilled to team up with Saucony, a brand that is keen to lead the running industry in helping to bring a vision for circularity to reality. Cycora is more than simply a product; it is also a community, a movement, and a future vision. Through this partnership, they are urging the whole running community to contribute to the creation of a circular economy where performance clothing is removed from the cycle of waste and reused over and over.

Sethi added that through a range of technical tops that are incredibly breathable, sweat-wicking, and fashionable, this collection illustrates the convergence of performance and sustainability. They anticipate working with Saucony in the future to push the limits of performance running clothing that is designed with “end of life” in mind.

Men’s sizes S-3XL and women’s sizes XXS-2XL are both offered in the Saucony x Cycora range. The cost is between $40 and $50 USD.
