RIL showcases sustainable textile innovations

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is reaffirming its commitment to innovation and sustainability in the textile industry at BharatTex 2025. RIL is showcasing its cutting-edge polyester technologies, including R|Elan SuPer and HEXaREL Quanta, along with other fabrics focused on performance, sustainability, and circular design.

HEXaREL Quanta is a breakthrough fabric line incorporating graphene, which promotes comfort and well-being. The fabric is versatile, suitable for dyeing, customizable knitting patterns, and works well with various materials such as nylon and polyester. It is ideal for use in sportswear, innerwear, formal clothing, and home textiles. HEXaREL Quanta adapts intelligently to the wearer’s needs, providing superior comfort, hygiene, and energy enhancement.

The company also launched R|Elan SuPer, a 3-in-1 fiber made from recycled PET bottles, which provides the softness of natural fibers, moisture management, and improved performance. R|Elan Smartex is a fabric with embedded graphene, offering benefits like anti-static features, UV protection, odor control, and cooling properties, ensuring freshness and comfort.

Additionally, r-SHT is a highly durable polyester sewing thread made entirely from post-consumer PET bottles, offering strength and low shrinkage. ecotherm is an innovative fiber made from polyester waste, providing excellent warmth and a soft touch.
