Revolve’s e-commerce platform now has a ‘sustainable shop’ feature

US-based Revolve, the e-commerce website favored by influencers, has launched new green programs, including alliances and more eco-friendly services on its e-commerce platform.

Tularosa Green, the first entirely sustainable owned brand division of the US fashion e-tailer, offers apparel manufactured of 100% organic cotton and processed with natural chemical-free dyes while using 40% less water during the manufacturing process, according to the company.

Furthermore, the Los Angeles-based organization has launched a ‘sustainable store’ tab to its website that highlights eco-friendly brands, enabling shoppers to browse over 800 different garments with a marking feature that specifies the type of garment, such as recycled, plant-based, vegan, upcycled, vintage, and low impact.

Revolve for the World, the company’s most recent recycling campaign has collaborated with One Tree Planted, a US-based environmental organization dedicated to planting trees and saving degraded forests by reforestation around the world.

The brand, which is well-known on Instagram for its marketing events and jet-setting PR trips with numerous influencers, has announced that it plans to offset carbon emissions for all future marketing events.

Revolve’s chief brand officer, Raissa Gerona said that they’ve traveled the world and decided it was the right time to launch an ongoing campaign that gives their clients another dimension of inspiration through action. They want to make sure that as they do trips and activities in the future, they’re far more conscious of their influence while continuing to lift the bar in their marketing playbook.
