ONLY x Re&Up
Re&Up has partnered with Bestseller’s women’s brand Only to introduce a new jersey program of basic tops made with next-generation recycled polyester, with the first styles already available in stores.
Through its modular recycling technology, Re&Up turns post-consumer and factory textile waste into fibers that perform on par with virgin materials. The process separates polyester and cotton in discarded garments and regenerates them into durable, high-performance fibers, creating a true textile-to-textile recycling loop.
For Only’s first production run, eleven styles were created using Re&Up’s next-gen polyester, amounting to more than 100,000 t-shirts. This shows that recycled fibers can be cost-competitive and ready for large-scale use.
The collaboration also reflects the confidence major European fashion retailers have in Re&Up’s technology. By incorporating recycled fibers into its core collections, Only is setting an example for other brands aiming to adopt circular solutions.
“This project proves that scaling recycled polyester production from textile waste is possible,” said Ozgur Atsan, Chief Commercial Officer at Re\&Up. “Transforming the industry is complex and takes time, but steps like this show real progress.”
