Resale marketplace The Luxury Closet enters European market

The Luxury Closet, the global resale marketplace for luxury and designer pre-owned fashion, has opened in the United Kingdom as part of the company’s continued expansion plans, with more European countries to follow later this year.

Kunal Kapoor started the platform in 2012 in Dubai, and it swiftly became the largest luxury resale marketplace in the Middle East, while also expanding its clientele in the Americas, APAC, and Europe. It now boasts a global community of 15 million users. The Luxury Closet is also FarFetch’s Middle East partner for its Second Life service.

The Luxury Closet’s UK launch will provide British customers with access to the marketplace’s desired pre-owned inventory, which includes brands such as Hermes, Rolex, Cartier, Gucci, and Dior, as well as the marketplace’s famed VIP concierge service.

In a statement, Kunal Kapoor, CEO and Founder of The Luxury Closet, said that the launch signifies a major milestone in their journey as they further grow inside Europe and welcome UK clients to their worldwide community.

For the first time, UK consumers will be able to enjoy their outstanding white-glove concierge service, as well as access their remarkable inventory of pre-owned designer pieces gathered from some of the world’s most desired closets.

The Luxury Closet allows customers to purchase and sell pre-owned designer clothing and has become well-known for its white-glove concierge service, highly coveted designer inventory, great customer service, and stringent verification procedure.

The platform also has a unique function in which it tracks trending pieces on a weekly basis and provides sellers an instant cash payout for the most popular pieces, ensuring that buyers can get the latest fashions at affordable costs.
