Replay launches its most sustainable denim collection

The Italian denim brand, Replay has released this month’s men’s and women’s denim collection completely made from either recycled, recovered, or repurposed materials.

The all-new Hyperflex Re-Used collection is described as the most iconic sustainable collection is far. The stretch jeans are composed of recycled polyester made from plastic bottles and recovered cotton waste fibers procured from other spinning processes at Replay. This initiative ensures nothing goes to waste. The new production cycle has been designed using regenerated CCS-certified cotton.

The company stated that about 10% of virgin cotton fibers are strayed in an ordinary spinning process.

The men’s clothing apparel offers 11.5 oz. straight-fit jeans in deep indigo overdyed black slim-fit and skinny jeans. Whereas the women’s line includes a skinny fit and super-high-rise skinny fit jeans in indigo, black, and medium and dark gray. The jeans retail for 150 euros and up.

The collection adds to the company’s sustainable efforts such as the Hyperflex Bio, which is a range of its bestselling stretch jeans made from organic cotton, recycled fabric and recycled PET bottles.

The denim industry has proven to have made a huge breakthrough for jeans with circularity in mind this fall. Replay has joined other denim companies in the drive towards a more sustainable industry.
