Reliance
The world’s largest producer of polyester filament yarns and staple fibers, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), has chosen to use FRX Innovations’ Nofia® technology to strengthen the environmentally friendly aspect of its well-known Recron FS, fire-resistant polyester. FRX Innovations (“FRX” or the “Company”), a provider of eco-friendly flame retardant solutions, is happy to make this announcement.
Recron FS is more environmentally friendly and technically superior for polyester textile applications thanks to Nofia’s distinctive polymeric phosphorus-based chemistry. Nofia additives have received certification from OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 for textile applications, as well as from other sustainability organizations including ChemForward, Green Screen, and TCO, certifying that the technology complies with these international criteria for safety and sustainability.
Mr. Hemant D. Sharma, Sector Head – Polyester Business, RIL said that “Recron FS is manufactured at state-of-the-art facilities, having one of the most environmentally friendly conditions, and is a part of the responsible care goods offering from RIL. They take great pride in how FRX’s Nofia technology has improved the safety and technical standards for Recron FS. They pledge to provide superior fire safety without sacrificing the environment, human health, or aesthetics.

Consumer interest in sustainability has been rising consistently for years. It is encouraging to see Nofia being used in such prominent consumer goods.
