R|Elan unveils Earth Tee with Namrata Joshipura

To celebrate World Environment Day on June 5, Reliance Industries Limited’s eco-friendly fabric brand R|Elan introduced the seventh edition of its Earth Tee. This year, the Earth Tee 7.0 has been created in collaboration with fashion designer Namrata Joshipura. The T-shirt is made from R|Elan’s GreenGold fabric, which is crafted entirely from recycled PET bottles collected during Lakmé Fashion Week 2025 at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre.

In a shift from past years, the Earth Tee is now available for public purchase for the first time. Buyers can get the T-shirt through the SankalpTaru Foundation, an environmental NGO. For every Earth Tee sold, the organisation will plant three trees, making the purchase not just sustainable but also a direct contribution to environmental conservation.

The Earth Tee also comes in eco-friendly packaging. Its container can be reused as a plant holder, and its tags and wrappers contain seeds that can be planted directly into the soil. The entire product, from material to packaging, is designed to promote environmental renewal.

Previously, the Earth Tee was only given to a selected group of individuals. With the 7.0 version, R|Elan is inviting the public to join its mission of circular fashion through the #WearTheChange campaign. The initiative encourages more people to take part in sustainable living and climate action.
