Precision Textiles launches FR solution for mattress collections

Precision Textiles, known for its pioneering innovations in textile technology and its leading position in supplying the bedding, home furnishings, automotive, and healthcare industries, has introduced a new product called IQFIT Comfort. Engineered as an all-in-one FR (fire-retardant) solution, IQFIT Comfort aims to provide customers with enhanced comfort and functionality for their mattress collections.

Part of the IQFIT product family, IQFIT Comfort is designed for use by both mattress manufacturers and cut-and-sew cover suppliers, catering to the residential and hospitality markets. The fabric is sustainably sourced and incorporates FR capabilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards while offering a more comfortable and flexible design compared to traditional options.

Scott Tesser, CEO of Precision Textiles, highlighted the significance of IQFIT Comfort in advancing comfort and functionality in the bedding industry. He emphasized the product’s versatility and its ability to meet the diverse needs of both residential and hospitality markets, underscoring the company’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.

With a focus on comfort-oriented knit construction and the latest FR chemistry (Prop 65 compliant), IQFIT Comfort significantly enhances comfort and flexibility, making it suitable for promotionally priced, compression-packed mattress designs. Its single-solution CFR 1633 compliant application and outer cover streamline mattress constructions, offering cost efficiencies and streamlined production processes.

According to Garrett Graven, Product Development Manager and Textile Engineer at Precision Textiles, IQFIT Comfort addresses the priorities of mattresses in the promotional category, combining basic functionality and affordability with exceptional comfort. The product’s tailored design caters precisely to the needs of this consumer segment, reaffirming Precision Textiles’ commitment to delivering innovative solutions that meet industry demands.
