Parachute launches its first collection made using organic cotton

Parachute, a multi-category lifestyle brand that helps you feel at home, has introduced its first Organic Cotton Collection. Almost all of the 22-piece collection’s goods are Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS®) certified. The line reflects Parachute’s dedication to a more ethical supply chain while providing high-quality natural fiber home basics.

The Organic Collection will include sheets, duvet covers, blankets, throws, bath towels, a robe, and loungewear crafted by master craftspeople all over the world from the softest, sustainably grown, organic cotton.

GOTS-certified items in the collection assure that the entire supply chain, from the cotton gin to the completed product, follows the GOTS organization’s high ecological and social criteria, and that dangerous chemicals and dyes are not utilized. GOTS is widely regarded as the top standard in organic cotton certification.

Ariel Kaye, founder and CEO of Parachute, said that sustainability is the key to addressing many of today’s difficulties. She started Parachute eight years ago with Oeko-Tex certified bedding, which means it’s been thoroughly tested for dangerous compounds since she believes in doing their part to limit their impact on people and the environment. With their new Organic Collection, they are continuing to enhance their sustainability standards. It’s soft, lovely, and crafted with the utmost care. They continually endeavour to grow and evolve alongside their community while also protecting the environment, and they are ready to take these efforts to the next level.

The first collection will include seven new color shades inspired by nature: reed, willow, bisque, sand, flax, pebble, and white. The entire collection will be available for purchase online at parachutehome.com and at Parachute retail stores across the United States beginning February 8 and in Canada beginning February 15.

The launch of this new collection is one of several sustainability commitments made by Parachute in January, adding to the company’s ongoing efforts to utilize more responsible, sustainable processes that benefit people and the environment. These pledges include the adoption of new material certifications, the objective of being Climate Neutral Certified by Earth Day 2022, and the introduction of the company’s first-ever circular program, the Recycled Down Pillow.

Kaye added that its mission remains to provide customers with best-in-class products that reaffirm the integrity of our brand. As they deepen their commitment to a more sustainable supply chain, they will continue to grow their use of organic cotton. They are dedicated to caring for the house, people, and the environment, and they can’t wait to share more.
