As Pakistan textile industry is considered the backbone of its economy. Ambassador of Pakistan to Turkey, Muhammad Haroon Shaukat assured that the Embassy of Pakistan would provide every possible help to Pakistani textile exporters to market their products in Turkey and the region.

He stated that Pakistani textile products were of highest quality and the country’s exports could be further boosted by showcasing state-of-the-art textile products. He expressed these views while visiting Pakistani stalls at a three-day Texworld exhibition in Istanbul.

Pakistan’s 14 leading textile manufacturers and exporters participated in the premiere of Texworld Istanbul, an apparel fabrics and accessories fair held from November 4 to 6. The Pakistan participating companies presented cotton and functional fabrics, fibers and yarns.

The exhibition offered an excellent opportunity where Pakistani products were showcased to buyers and professional visitors from Turkey and from the surrounding regions, including the Middle East and the Gulf States, Central Asia, Russia, Eastern Europe and North Africa.
