PacSun enters footwear resale market with PS Reserve

US apparel brand Pacific Sunwear (PacSun) has entered the footwear resale industry with PS Reserve, in an attempt to tap on the rising demand for secondhand fashion.

Adidas, Anti Social Social Club, Nike, Jordan, Supreme, and Bape, among others, are among the brands represented in the online shop available through the company’s website.

Because PS Reserve items are part of PacSun’s in-house inventory, orders may be completed more quickly than services that require a middleman authentication procedure. This results in a more efficient direct-to-consumer experience.

Michael “Miki” Guerra, the founder and proprietor of The Magnolia Park and a seasoned retail and resale veteran, will assist PacSun in reselling and authenticating the different goods.

In a statement, Richard Cox, PacSun vice president of men’s merchandising, said that footwear is highly essential to the PacSun customer. As a result, they recognize that, in addition to their excellent apparel offering, they must have an appealing footwear range.

Cox added that the resale market has completely transformed the footwear business, and they’ve been considering how they might best engage in that development via their own unique perspective, in an elevated and true way.
