Oerlikon with its latest innovations will be at ITMA 2015

Oerlikon Manmade Fibers with the product brands Oerlikon Barmag and Oerlikon Neumag is the world market leader for filament spinning systems, texturing machines and BCF carpet yarn, staple fiber spinning as well as nonwovens solutions will be representing at this year’s ITMA exhibition for textile machinery in Hall 4, Stand A 105, with its two Oerlikon Barmag and Oerlikon Neumag competence brands. The exhibition to be held from 12-19 November in Milan, Italy.

In a market that is proving to be increasingly difficult, they will set new trends with their innovations and once again change the markets. The company will be reviewing successful product developments of the past few years , said André Wissenberg, Head of Marketing, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs.

In addition to unveiling the strategic expansion within the polycondensation business by means of the joint venture with Chinese partner Huitong, the segment is above all focusing on offering its customers total manmade fibre spinning systems solutions.

Wissenberg said that from Melt to Yarn, Fibers and Nonwovens is their maxim. Currently, they are the world’s only manufacturer that has the know-how and the capacities to offer complex manmade fibre spinning systems for polyester, nylon and polypropylene from a single source.

Oerlikon Barmag will also be showcasing innovations in the areas of POY/DTY, FDY and IDY filament spinning and texturing, as well as the manufacture of monofilaments. Here, the focus is on further new product developments and optimizations in line with the Oerlikon e-save philosophy, which promotes the manufacture of products oriented on sustainability.

Oerlikon Neumag will concentrate on its BCF, staple fibre and nonwovens core competencies and present all interested visitors with the latest product developments by means of its virtual reality technology in the 3D showrooms.

Oerlikon, after the ITMA Barcelona 2011 is once again sponsoring the World Textile Summit in Milan, which will take place on 13 November. The first speakers have been already announced. In line with the key themes of ITMA 2015, the Summit’s programme is being developed to explore a series of topics that link decisions on sustainability to profitability and corporate success.

On 16 November, EDANA and ITMA 2015 organizer MP Expositions will jointly host a Nonwovens Forum. The programme will feature topics relating to global industry trends, opportunities and challenges, as well as production technologies and management.

Oerlikon Neumag will talk about its innovations in Spunbond Lines for Technical Applications. Martin Rademacher, Sales Manager, and Dr Ingo Maehlmann, Senior Manager Product Management Nonwoven, will talk about the polymer and technology trends as well as growth expectations for technical applications. They will also present their case study: “bitumen roofing substrate and geotextiles meeting market requirements”.

The primary Oerlikon Barmag markets are in Asia, with Oerlikon Neumag’s main markets in the US, Turkey and China.

Between November 12 and 19, 2015, the entire textile machine industry will convene at one of the world’s largest trade fair locations, the Fiera Milano Rho. For the fourth time since 1959, the ITMA Europe returns to Milan.
