Odisha textile investors’ meet organized to attract Gujarati entrepreneurs

The Spinfede under the Handlooms, Textiles and Handicrafts Department of Odisha to organize an investors’ meet to attract Gujarati entrepreneurs to the Odisha textile sector on September 16 at Surat.

The event would be the first of its kind to be organized by the department.

About 100 investors from Gujarat are likely to participate in the meet, informed Snipfede Managing Director AP Das.

The South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce has provided all support to the Spinfede in this regard.

A detailed discussion on possible investment opportunities and related infrastructure creation in the textile sector would be held at the proposed meet. Opinion of experts would be taken for effecting development of the textile sector.

It may be noted that textile industry has been given priority in the Odisha Industry Policy 2015. For this, ample investment opportunities in the sector have been created.
