Novita yarns introduced in UK

The NovitaKnits online community has more than 100,000 members all around the world. There, old and new knitters find new friends, tutorials, patterns and designs. Yrjö-Koskinen said that, “NovitaKnits develops the knitting culture. The UK has rich traditions of knitting culture and yarn manufacturing. My great grandfather Ernst Gylfe went to England already 90 years ago to learn the craftmanship.”

Knitting socks by the fireplace makes you feel protected from the cold and the demands of the outside world. Novita yarns are going to be available in 34 John Lewis shops in the UK and Johnlewis.com from autumn 2018.

Daniela Yrjö-Koskinen, Novita CEO, said that, “There is a real Finland boom going on in the world. The authentic, natural Finnish way of life draws positive attention from everywhere. Novita loves to respond to that demand with its high-quality yarns. We are proud to launch our yarns with John Lewis and bring our inspirational Nordic designs to the UK market.”

The Novita yarns and designs are influenced by the magic of northern nature the peacefulness, the never ending space and the quietness to hear yourself breathe. The Finnish lifestyle means walking in the wild and looking for a slower pace of life and knitting is a natural part of that culture. Novita has launched it’s responsibly-made quality yarns in the UK, in co-operation with John Lewis.
