Nilit, Samsara Eco launch collection with enzymatically recycled nylon

Nilit and Samsara Eco have unveiled the Full Circle collection, their latest collaboration showcasing the potential of enzymatically recycled nylon 6.6 for high-performance apparel. The collection has been developed to demonstrate how advanced recycling technology can produce materials that deliver the same quality and performance as virgin nylon while supporting a more circular textile industry.

The Full Circle collection includes sports bras, shorts, and long-sleeve tops made using Sensil EosEco yarn. According to the companies, the garments offer the same soft feel, durability, and technical performance as products made from conventional virgin nylon, making them suitable for demanding activewear applications.

At the heart of the collaboration is Samsara Eco’s enzymatic recycling technology, which uses artificial intelligence-engineered enzymes to break down end-of-life nylon 6.6 into its original building blocks. These materials are then regenerated into new, high-performance fibres with properties identical to virgin nylon, allowing them to be reused without compromising quality.

The Full Circle collection serves as a practical demonstration of this technology, highlighting how recycled nylon can be used to create durable garments designed to perform under challenging conditions. The collection has been developed to withstand regular use while maintaining comfort, strength, and long-lasting performance.
