Moonlight Technologies launches sustainable plant-based technologies

New York-based, Moonlight Technologies, has launched five new plant-based technologies that, according to the firm, strengthen its fundamental objective of harnessing nature’s power to make the world more sustainable, safer, and healthier through plant-based innovation.

EcoArmor, InsectProof, MindfullyClean, OdorSafe, and Natural Dyes are among the new innovations. Each is distinct in that it is made completely of plant-based ingredients, is 100 percent natural, and uses a carbon-negative production technique. All of the technologies are used in normal production processes and have a long wash life.

Moonlight Technologies’ CEO, Allie Sutton, said, they’re eager to bring these unique technologies to market and offer new and creative sustainable solutions for businesses. Through this launch, they hope to collaborate with partners across a wide range of sectors to begin putting their technology in real-world applications.

Apparel, uniforms, home textiles, air filtration, travel, hospitality items, exercise equipment, electronics, furniture, paint, and more all use EcoArmor, InsectProof, MindfullyClean, OdorSafe, and Natural Dyes.

EcoArmor is one of the world’s first sustainable, plant-based antimicrobial solutions that destroys 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, mould, and fungus in the air, plastic, and cloth.

InsectProof is a permethrin-free, 100 percent plant-based insect repellent for textiles, skin, and hard objects.

MindfullyClean is a unique self-cleaning fabric technology that keeps treated goods fresh and clean regardless of use, requiring just occasional washing.

OdorSafe is a plant-based, natural technology that permanently destroys and removes odors on clothes.

Natural Dyes are non-toxic, biodegradable dyes for hardgoods and textiles that are generated from sustainable sources. It may be used on any sort of cloth, both synthetic and natural.
