Mohawk plan realignment of its Georgia yarn plant

Mohawk Industries Inc.. the Calhoun Ga – based flooring manufacturers plans realignment of its yarn operations in northwest Georgia in order to better leverage its investments in manufacturing equipment and technology.

In August, the business will reassign production at one of the Mohawk’s older yarn facilities in Chatsworth, Ga., to other northwest Georgia locations, a more modernized sites.
