Milliken Specialty Interiors continues to grow in line with market demand

Brock Henderson joins the Specialty Interiors team to focus on account management in the residential market. He moves up from Milliken’s Floor Covering division, where for more than three years he served as business controller, contributing to business strategy, managing the budgets for marketing and design efforts and overseeing the implementation of the flooring division business plans for two businesses. Prior to that, Henderson served for three years as a credit analyst in the Performance Textiles division, where he worked to ensure profitability and the timely processing of customer orders.

Jennifer K. Harmon, vice president, Milliken Specialty Interiors says that, “Milliken Specialty Interiors has continued to grow to keep up with the strong market demand for our innovative and high-performing products,” Also, “The addition of Kim and Brock will allow us to continue to stay on the front edge of design and product development while offering superior customer service.”

Milliken & Co. is balancing its growth by expanding teams on both the product development and account management sides. The company’s Specialty Interiors business has brought on a 25-year industry veteran as a new design consultant, and promoted from within its flooring division to manage accounts for the division’s residential market.

Kim Grimsley brings extensive decorative textile fabric design, marketing and merchandising career experience. She has served on senior management teams for several textile companies, including Valdese Weavers’ Circa 1801 division, Tietex Interiors, and Craftex Mills. At Milliken & Co., Grimsley works on design and color development, product innovation/reinvention, strategic planning and enhancing the group’s design depth and portfolio.
