Milliken x Makersite
Milliken & Company, a global leader in manufacturing, has announced a strategic partnership with Makersite, an AI-driven product lifecycle intelligence software. This collaboration will enhance Milliken’s efforts in sustainable product design by using Makersite’s advanced tools to manage product sustainability, costs, and compliance in real-time.
This partnership strengthens Milliken’s dedication to creating sustainable products by using Makersite’s AI-powered life cycle analysis (LCA). This will guide product design and sourcing in Milliken’s textile and chemical divisions.
“Partnering with Makersite is another step in our commitment to positively impact the world for future generations,” said Kasel Knight, Milliken’s chief legal officer and head of sustainability. “With near real-time sustainability data, we can improve our product design and make faster sourcing decisions for our customers.”
“Milliken and Makersite share a vision for innovating sustainable product design and sourcing that supports both business and sustainability objectives,” said Neil D’Souza, CEO and founder of Makersite. “By combining Milliken’s internal product data with external supply chain databases in Makersite’s unified platform, Milliken can speed up decision-making processes for their product portfolio.”
