Microban launches natural antimicrobial technology Ascera

Microban International has unveiled a new antimicrobial technology called Ascera, which is inspired by nature and designed for use in olefinic polymers and solvent-based coatings. This technology is more eco-friendly and less toxic than other options. It provides long-lasting protection against bacteria, preventing stains and the premature aging of products. Ascera is part of Microban’s commitment to sustainability and product protection.

Dr. Souvik Nandi, Vice President of R&D at Microban International, explained that the company has been working to find natural and sustainable antimicrobial solutions. Ascera is the result of years of research and is the first of several nature-inspired solutions they plan to launch.

Michael Ruby, President of Microban International, stated that they aim to become the most trusted brand for cleanliness and product protection. Their research teams are focused on developing cutting-edge technologies inspired by nature. Ascera is now available for manufacturers in the US and Asia.
