MAXXAM, ApparelTASKER to showcase summer 2027 collection

British textile innovator MAXXAM Textiles and East London-based garment manufacturer ApparelTASKER will present an expanded range of stretch textiles and garments for Summer 2027 at Mare di Moda 2026 in Cannes, France, from October 27–29. The exhibition, which focuses on swimwear, lingerie and athleisure fabrics, will showcase the partnership’s latest garment applications for MAXXAM’s distinctive crinkle-textured stretch textile.

MAXXAM is a seamless, four-way stretch fabric featuring a three-dimensional crinkled surface that expands and contracts to accommodate different body shapes. The textile is part of the permanent collection at London’s Victoria and Albert Museum.

The upcoming collection will feature new garment silhouettes and a vibrant colour palette incorporating citrus orange, lime green and bright red. The partnership began when Moore met ApparelTASKER founder Zack Sartor at Mare di Moda in 2025 and has since explored new possibilities in colour, shape and garment design.

Sustainability remains a key focus for both companies. MAXXAM is exploring lower-waste manufacturing methods and more sustainable yarn developments, while ApparelTASKER uses zero-waste cutting techniques, reuses fabric offcuts and emphasises transparent production practices.
