Matin Spinning inaugurates its new mélange production unit in Gazipur

Matin Spinning Mills, a concern of DBL Group, inaugurated its expanded Melange unit on 28th March, 2016, the new production unit will produce melange yarn, a mixed yarn used in making fabrics, to meet the company’s growing demand for high quality yarn.

The new unit has been established at Kashimpur in Gazipur with the production capacity of 10 tonnes a day of melange yarn, The additional capacity of producing Melange yarn will boost the total production capacity of the factory to 35 tonnes a day, the group said in a statement yesterday.

During the inauguration Abdul Wahed, chairman of DBL Group; MA Jabbar, managing director; MA Rahim, a director; MA Quader, a director, and Mohammed Hassan Imam, a director, among other high-ups of the group and distinguished invited guest were present at the event.

The company raised Tk 126 crore through an initial public offering to set up its Melange plant,, The expanded Melange unit will be one of the most modern spinning mills in Bangladesh having machineries from Trutzschler – Germany, Rieter – Switzerland, Toyota & Murata – Japan, Marzoli – Italy and so on.

They have optimized their spinning processes by applying state-of-the-art technology and machineries to every phase of their production processes.
